Ever wish that you could take a timed selfie with your iPhone? Well, now you can. Under iOS 8, the iphone camera now has the ability to take timed photos, with a delay of 3 seconds or 8 seconds.
To set up your phone’s timer, launch the Camera app and then click the Timer icon on top of your phone (the second icon from the right).
A new menu appears on the top of the screen from where you can choose a 3 second timer or a 10 second timer. Choose the desired time interval and then tap the shutter button.
Once you’ve pressed the button, an on-screen countdown displays.
If you plan on taking a lot of timed selfies, you might want to think about purchasing a portable and adjustable smartphone tripod.
