A handy feature of iBooks is the ability to manage your PDF documents. Not only can you import your PDFs into iBooks, you can also save a document as a PDF directly into iBooks.
iBooks comes with a built-in collection called PDFs. Any PDFs that you import into iBooks are automatically added to this collection. To remove a PDF from iBooks, select the PDF and then press the Delete key.
To Save a Document as a PDF in iBooks
- From the application menu, choose File > Print to display the Print dialog box.
- Click the PDF button and choose Add PDF to iBooks from the list. The document is saved as a PDF and automatically imported into iBooks.
To Add an Existing PDF into iBooks
- Open the iBooks Application.
- Drag the PDF from a Finder window directly into the iBooks window.
OR
- Open the iBooks Application.
- Select File > Add to Library from the iBooks menu.
- Navigate to the folder that contains the PDF you want to add.
- Select the PDF.
- Click the Add button.
