Font Book is a welcome addition to Mac OS X. This application allows you to preview the different typefaces and characters that are available in each of the fonts on your computer. The Font Book application also allows you to install, group, enable, disable and search for any and all fonts on your Macintosh.
With Font Book, you can easily organize your fonts and create font collections to keep your favorite fonts readily available. For example, you could create a collection of fonts you use for a specific newsletter or project. You can also disable individual fonts, font families, or font collections, so you only see the fonts you need.
